Field Trips
Field Trips at the 26th Philadelphia Film Festival
Each year at the Film Festival, with continued support from PECO, the Film Society hosts dozens of classes from public, private, and charter schools for FREE weekday morning field trips to the historic Prince Theater for screenings of the best in contemporary independent cinema focused on relevant issues and excellent storytelling.
Films are curated for an arts-integration experience and students learn to become active and media literate audience members. Students are asked to think critically through interactive screening response curriculum and post-screening discussions with visiting filmmakers and industry professionals.
Program details including film selections, synopses, schedules, and 2016 program reservation forms will be available at the end of September.
